Chalo Spiti 2018, Leh Calling 2019, Tsomoriri 2019

My wife and I traveled to Spiti Valley in the Himalayas with Ventilator Village in Sep 2018. Our trip was absolutely spectacular! Spiti is a cold desert and you can get there via the Rohtang Pass from Manali.

We love traveling, but we also like to relax during a vacation. Both of us have corporate jobs, and sometimes travel to a new place just adds to your stress. From where to stay to booking transport everywhere, there's a lot of guessing. I was interested in Ventilator Village because a friend told me that these guys are experts in structuring your trip & giving you an amazing experience. No trial and error, no hassle. So I decided to give it a try.

Run by a friendly couple, Kshitij and Vartika, the concept of Ventilator Village is to travel with a group. It's a lot like traveling with friends. Your transport, hotel, sightseeing and meals are taken care of. They know the places inside out. Plus, they also tell you all the stories /insider info that you wouldn't get on your own.

One memorable night was spent at a home stay in the last village before Tibet! We sat up on the terrace and told ghost stories as dark outline of mountains loomed on all sides. At Chandrataal lake, I truly felt like an Arabian Prince staying in a luxurious tent. The lake itself is unforgettable.

I'm waiting for these guys to expand their offerings to other parts of India & abroad. So many places to see.
