A) There is no Leh Valley, Leh is the capital city of Ladakh, declared as union territory of India in 2019. Major valleys in Ladakh are Zanskar Valley, Nubra Valley, Markha Valley, Drass Valley, Suru Valley and Salt Lake Valley. There is nothing known as Leh Valley.
Q) Should I book hotels in Leh Ladakh directly or take a package from a travel agent?
A) We recommend you to be aware of fraudulent practice followed by few people who are not even residents of Ladakh by putting fake photos and fake address at online portals. We know few of the hotel owners who have never listed their hotels online but someone else made fake account and posted fake photos. At some places like Pangong Tso in Ladakh, there is no phone network or internet network so these hotel owners work directly with travel agents.
Q) How far is Pangong Lake from Leh?
A) Pangong Lake is around 222.9 km from Leh, some of the visitors do a day trip to Pangong and come back where as we recommend to stay there for a night to see the stars in milky way.

A) Yes tourists can visit Leh palace from 8 am to 5 pm by paying the entry ticket. These working hours might effect because of national holidays like Republic Day, Independence Day and others. Leh Palace was built by the founder of Namgyal Dyansty, Tsewang Namgyal, in 1553. Earlier Leh palace was not opened for tourists but in early 2000s it was renovated and can be visited by tourists. It is a major tourist attraction in Leh city.
